Hillsborough County, Florida: A woman managed to escape from a van in the parking lot of a Walgreens pharmacy, leading to the arrest of a man who had allegedly held her captive and subjected her to torture for over two months.

Walter Medina, 48, was apprehended by authorities and charged with various offenses, including attempted murder and armed kidnapping, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
The ordeal came to light when police responded to a report at a gas station in Seffner about an injured woman seeking help after fleeing from a van.
