A high school teacher from Klein, Texas, has been arrested for her alleged involvement in sex trafficking three teenagers, according to authorities.
Kedria M. Grigsby, 42, was arrested on Monday on charges of trafficking a child and compelling prostitution of juveniles, stated Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
“Grigsby seems to have recruited troubled juveniles from local high schools by promising them shelter, typically in a hotel,” Gonzalez explained. All three victims are female.
Separate documents allege that Grigsby “styled” a juvenile referred to as A.A. and an 18-year-old victim identified as E.D. in November 2022, ultimately forcing them into prostitution. E.D. was 17 at the time.

Grigsby allegedly collaborated with her 21-year-old son, Roger Magee, who was previously arrested in November 2022 for trafficking children and now faces additional charges, according to online court records.
Authorities claim that Grigsby and Magee profited from a prostitution enterprise involving the three juveniles, as stated in a probable cause document.
[adinserter name="Seven"]The duo purportedly took the girls to a motel room used for prostitution, managed financial transactions related to the enterprise, and controlled a Zelle account where the victims transferred their earnings.
While Grigsby is identified as a cosmetology teacher at Klein Cain High School, it is unclear if her victims attended the same school.
Klein Independent School District expressed disgust over the allegations, condemned Grigsby’s behavior, and pledged full cooperation with the investigation.

It remains unclear why Grigsby was arrested this week for crimes allegedly committed more than a year ago.
According to a statement by Klein ISD, as of February 2023, HCSO had not considered Grigsby a suspect, and the district only became aware of her involvement upon her April 8 arrest.
