Rajat Dalal, an alleged bodybuilder, Instagram fitness model and power-lifter by profession, a regular online taunter by activity, and a notorious jailbird with a fake ego, got himself into trouble after a video of him went viral on the internet. Sources say that he kidnapped and tortured a student mentally and physically by applying cow dung on his face and by making him clean a toilet. Sources further add that he also urinated on the boy’s face and slapped him. This incident occurred after a student uploaded a video on social media that went viral via his handle. Dalal has been sent behind bars after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint against him.
This happened when the student clicked a selfie with the fitness model and uploaded it on social media. The selfie was allegedly clicked at the gym, which Rajat Dalal visits often. The gym owners claim Rajat Dalal offers fitness training and shoots fitness videos there. Sources say the student shared the picture with a caption saying, “Every morning, I see your face at the gym, and it spoils my entire day.”
This post allegedly upset Rajat Dalal, and he summoned the student to the gym and asked him for his address; the student shared it. Rajat Dalal reportedly went to the student society and told the students he was waiting outside the society gate. The student went to the society to pick him up; Rajat Dalal and his associates abducted the student.
Rajat Dalal took the student to the Green Gales Society in Jagatpur and started abusing him mentally. Rajat also made the student squat and said, “How dare you make my video? I will piece you into parts and will not spare you.” A video of the assault went viral on social media, where it can be seen that Rajat Dalal and his associates are slapping the kid inside the car and demanding that he call Rajat Dalal “Papa” and apologize for sharing the post on social media. The boy was taken to a cowshed in Chandkhed, where the accused smeared cow dung on his face and beat him up with slippers. The accused also clicked a video while assaulting the boy.
The accused further took the student to an apartment. They made him sweep the toilet inside the apartment and also beat him up there on camera. Rajat Dalal urinated on the student’s face after the kid fainted due to the beating. Rajat Dalal dropped the kid near his home after the assault and threatened his mother. Rajat Dalal said, “I would have murdered him, but he is too small, so I am sparing him. I am a Jat from Haryana. I have big people here. The police can’t do anything to me; they are all in my pocket.”.
Rajat Dalal also made the student do squats in front of his mother and showed her the post he shared by him. They left the spot, and the student went to a hospital. Action has been reportedly taken by the police over the complaint filed by the student at Sabarmati Police Station in Ahmedabad. The police initiated an inquiry about the matter and arrested Rajat Dalal and his three associates. The police have registered a case over the abduction and assault against the Instagram influencer and his friends.
