Kheri, Uttar Pradesh: Aman Hussain, a 21-year-old man, violently assaulted and raped a 17-year-old girl after she rejected his marriage proposal. According to reports, Hussain kidnapped the girl as she was returning from a show and took her to his home. There, he subjected her to rape and torture over a span of three days.
On April 19, Hussain forcefully took the girl to his residence, where he tied her hands and subjected her to various atrocities. Matters worsened when he used a hot iron rod to brandish his name onto her face, an act of barbarism carried out with the complicity of his mother and sister.

[adinserter name="Eight"]The survivor recounted to India Today TV, “I went to the shop to buy goods on April 19. He took me to his house and subjected me to unspeakable acts. Subsequently, he branded my face with a rod and inscribed his name, while his sister and mother restrained me. Despite my cries for help, no assistance arrived.”
[adinserter name="Five"]Despite the girl’s cries for help, no assistance came until she managed to escape and return home on April 21. Prompted by the girl’s mother, a complaint was lodged, leading to Hussain’s arrest and subsequent incarceration, as confirmed by police authorities.
[adinserter name="Seven"]Initially, the case was registered under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including wrongful confinement, voluntarily causing hurt, and intentional insult, with provisions from the Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) added later.
[adinserter name="Six"]In response to media inquiries regarding the actions taken by the police, the Additional Superintendent of Police (East Kheri) confirmed that an FIR had been filed, and investigations were underway. The accused faces charges under relevant sections of the IPC and the POCSO Act.
