Ukrainian partisans have successfully sabotaged a Russian train in Melitopol. This targeted attack has severed the supply route for Russian troops, obstructing the flow of ammunition and fuel destined for the Zaporizhzhia front.

Zaporizhzhia, October 13, 2023 – Ukrainian guerrillas have once again launched a daring attack in Russian-occupied Melitopol. At 7:40 a.m., these partisans executed a meticulously planned operation, resulting in the destruction of a Russian train that had been crucial for the transportation of ammunition and fuel from Crimea to Melitopol and Dniprorudne. On its return journey to Crimea, this train would carry damaged equipment and plundered resources, including iron ore, grain, and other valuable cargo.
The blast inflicted severe damage, destroying 150 meters of the railway track and a diesel locomotive. Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces have reported substantial damage to the railway infrastructure. Currently, Russian troops have encircled the site of the explosion, diligently attempting to conceal any traces of the sabotage while intensively searching for the Ukrainian partisans responsible.
The Center of National Resistance (CNR) declared this act of sabotage as the tenth successful railroad disruption in the Zaporizhzhia region this year, illustrating the unwavering commitment of Ukrainian partisans to obstruct Russian troop logistics. In recent weeks, Ukrainian partisans have achieved notable successes, including a significant revelation provided by a Russian serviceman. This insider information contributed to the planning of a devastating missile attack on Moscow’s Black Sea Fleet, underscoring the effectiveness and determination of Ukrainian guerrillas.
Exclusive comments from a spokesperson for The Partisan movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars (ATESH) shed light on the intricacies of this operation. They explained that they had successfully garnered the cooperation of a member of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, who provided essential information regarding the placement and probable combat missions of the Rostov-on-Don submarine. This intelligence led to a series of explosions that severely damaged the “Rostov-on-Don” submarine and the “Minsk” Large Landing Ship at the Sevastopol Shipyard in Russian-occupied Crimea.
